As a practice in editorial layout design, I've been generating articles following fictional stories and bringing them to life in Adobe Illustrator.

The hope was to capture, to some degree, the optimism of this character's view towards his practice, the joy his work brings him, and the wonder he works to spread. With some unusual arrangements and a diverse color palette, this layout reflects of bit of his whimsy.
